BRAMS welcomes high school students, in collaboration with project SEUR 2010

BRAMS is happy to participate once again in project SEUR, by welcoming in July 2010 three groups of high-school students to visit the laboratory and to be introduced to leading questions addressed in our research centre.

SEUR project, “Sensibilisation aux études universitaires et à la recherche”, was set up by Université de Montréal in 2001, to increase 3rd, 4th and 5th year high school students awareness of the numerous training and research opportunities offered here – and in the meantime help these pupils, coming from various educational backgrounds, in their career choice by showing them a wide variety of training and career possibilities.

BRAMS is pleased to collaborate in this major project for the third time, by welcoming three groups of thirty pupils to visit its premises, on July 8, 15 and 22, 2010. BRAMS students are presenting to the teenagers their respective research projects, as well as leading them through BRAMS for a dynamic visit, including several demonstrations and experiences – notably in electroencephalography (EEG), spatial hearing and Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). The teenagers will thus get an overview of the diversity of the research projects conducted at BRAMS and of current major issues in Auditory Cognitive Neuroscience.

If you would like to join one of the below visit, don’t hesitate to contact us by email: info@brams.umontreal.ca
