Study on Vocal Duet Performance

Please note that we have now found all our participants for this study. Thank you for your understanding.

Singers with at least 6 years of experience are sought to participate in a study on vocal duets. Singers will be asked to sing familiar melodies while wearing head-mounted microphones and a light body suit with small markers for motion capture.

The experiment will last less than 2.5 hours, and takes place at the Schulich School of Music.

Singers who complete the study will be compensated $30 and the experiment is scheduled at your convenience.

You should have normal hearing, be over 18 years of age and have sung in a vocal ensemble for at least 6 years.

This study is supervised by Prof. Caroline Palmer (McGill University) and Prof. Peter Schubert (McGill University).
