Postdoctoral position in “brain imaging of pitch processing”


A postdoctoral position in “brain imaging of pitch processing ” is currently available in Isabelle Peretz‘s lab at BRAMS, Université de Montréal, Canada. Candidates must have expertise in MRI brain imaging (DTI, functional MRI). Prior experience with FSL in auditory cognitive neuroscience is an asset.

Candidates must possess a PhD, previous publication record, and strong organization skills.  The post-doctoral fellow will initially participate in neuroimaging data analysis and manuscript preparation. The data have been recently collected in neurologically intact students and in pitch-deaf adults with the objective to characterize the neural basis of pitch processing. S/he will work in close collaboration with I. Peretz and her team.

The post-doc position is initially for one year, with possible renewal for a second year. Salary will be in line with University post-doctoral stipend levels.
