The NSERC-CREATE training grant in Complex Dynamics is pleased to announce its call for graduate and postdoctoral awards for 2021-22. The application deadline is 5PM on March 8. Awards will be announced by the beginning of April. Applicants can find the full details and application information at:
cd-create.org/admissions/graduate-awards
cd-create.org/admissions/postdoc-awards
Graduate fellowships include an 8-month stipend of $18,000 plus a 16-week (4-month) internship stipend of $8000 (total $26,000) to students enrolled full-time (Masters or PhD level) at the home institution of one of the CREATE mentors. Your fellowship must be sponsored by a faculty member of the CREATE network (listed at cd-create.org/mentors).
Postdoctoral fellowships are for 1 year (renewable once) with a stipend of $40,000 and must be sponsored by a faculty member of the CREATE network, who agrees to contribute half of the stipend funds from their grants.
We recommend that trainees contact potential mentors first, as mentors can nominate only one trainee in each category (graduate / postdoc trainee) and trainees can submit only one application.
Thank you,
