DESCRIPTION:BRAMS is pleased to announce the organization of a workshop on Music and Pain, to be held at BRAMS on February 27, 2009.

This workshop will be of particular interest to music therapists, musicians, researchers in psychology & neuroscience, and students in these fields.
Note that registration fees apply.

11:15-12:15  Presentation by Dr. Marion Good, followed by discussions
12:15-13:30  Lunch (Buffet – included in registration fee)
13:30-14:15  Presentation by Deborah Salomon, MA, MTA, CMT, with discussion
Music and Pain: The view from music therapy
14:15-15:00  Music activity led by an expert (with Julien Peyrin), followed by discussions
Drum circle with instruments for everyone
15:00-15:30  Round table discussion & closing talk by moderators

Regular: $25 (students $15)
Includes 2 coffee breaks & lunch (buffet style)
