Dr. Gary Marcus, Professor of Psychology at New York University, and Director of the NYU Center for Child Language, has published extensively on the nature and origins of human cognition, in leading journals such as ScienceNatureCognition, and Cognitive Psychology. His books include The Algebraic Mind: Integrating Connectionism and Cognitive ScienceThe Birth of the Mind: How A Tiny Number of Genes Creates, The Complexity of Human Thought,  and Kluge: The Haphazard Evolution of the Human Mind, a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice.
