Workshop on Clinical Music Research

BRAMS is organizing a workshop on Clinical Music Research on April 15, 2010.

The objective of this workshop is to bring together scientists from Helsinki, Melbourne and Montreal who have common interests in studying music as a form of therapy.

Please note that you must register for this event (maximum 30 participants).

Anna Zumbansen (University of Montreal) – “Music for Aphasia: Clinical Applications”

Dawn Merrett (University of Melbourne) – “Music for Aphasia: Neurobiological Mechanisms”

Francesca Pittau, M.D. (Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University) – “Music-induced seizures in patients with independent bilateral temporal seizures”

Aline Moussard (University of Montreal) – “Can music support memory in normal aging and Alzheimer’s disease?”

Sylvie Hébert, Ph.D. (University of Montreal) – “Music dyslexia”
