The Brain Imaging Center at the MNI owns two MRI scanners, fully dedicated to research purposes (1.5 and 3.0T) and a PET scanner, to which BRAMS members have access. The renovated 3T scanner allows for better sound absorption. The laboratory also offers a TMS laboratory, an EEG-MRI compatible system and unique simulators of musical instruments that are MRI compatible. The BRAMS laboratory at the NMI also includes two audiometric booths, as well as an analysis area. A MEG system is also operational.
