Elizabeth Misener

I am a M.Sc. student in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill, under the supervision of Alexandre Lehmann.  My research interests integrate my background as a cellist with my love of neuroscience and I am currently investigating the therapeutic potential of low frequency sound waves (Vibroacoustic Therapy) for stress management using neurophysiological and neuroendocrine markers. I am also interested in the role of music in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Before joining Dr. Lehmann’s lab, I completed my B.Sc. in Life Sciences at Queen’s University.
