Florence Coulombe Raymond

Graduate of the DESS from UQAM, after her B.Sc in psychology at UdeM, Florence is fascinated by human consciousness and its diverse ramifications as well as how it can be used as a tool to improve mental health. This interest led her to get involved as a volunteer in the Altered States of Consciousness & Rhythm research project in Dr. Dalla Bella’s laboratory. In this project, researchers are using the Battery for the Assessment of Auditory Sensorimotor and Timing Abilities (BAASTA) as well as an Altered States of Consciousness questionnaire to investigate the connection between rhythm abilities and the propensity to have experienced different types of altered states of consciousness. Florence also has a lifelong passion for dance!
