Francis Dufresne

Francis has a BA in journalism from Université du Québec à Montréal and is working at CBC/Radio-Canada since 2016. He’s currently completing a major in psychology at Université de Montréal. His research interests focus on the link between musical abilities and cognitive functions. His goal is to do a PhD on theory-guided musical interventions to help the elderly suffering from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer.

The research centre is located in Montreal and jointly affiliated with the University of Montreal and McGill University.
