Karyn Fish completed her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Marc Pell at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, McGill University. Her research interests were in the domain of social uses of language, looking at how prosody affects the transmission and interpretation of attitudes such as sincerity.
