Mila Bertolo

I’m a Ph.D. student in McGill’s Integrated Program in Neuroscience, under the supervision of both Jon Sakata and Isabelle Peretz. I’m interested in questions concerning the origins of music – to that end, my work uses cross-cultural, developmental, and cross-species methods. I completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, a Master’s in Brain & Cognition at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and worked as a lab manager at the Harvard Music Lab for two years, before joining the Peretz and Sakata labs.
