Giorgio completed his Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Data Science at the University of Pavia (Italy), where he studied beat-based rhythmic processing and the underlying brain networks using non-invasive neurostimulation techniques. His research takes a mechanistic and causal approach to music neuroscience and social psychology. He currently investigates interpersonal synchronization across behavioral, physiological, and neural levels, and its potential impact on societal issues
