I have a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience (Hons) with a specialisation in Neuropsychology. Having an interest not only in music neurocognition research, but also in clinical and human relations, I decided to continue my studies with a Ph.D. in Neuropsychological Research and Intervention.
As a musician from an early age, I’m interested in the effects of music on cognition. More specifically, my thesis project focuses on the effects of sound intervention on executive functions in older adults. The goal of this project is to identify promising avenues for promoting harmonious cognitive aging.
